ReTUBE Floor

ReTube Floor is a plastic design floor lamp, completely recycled and recyclable. It has six lamp shades, originally born as plastic substrates for the dyeing of yarn. The particular design originally serves for the radial compression of the tube during the dye-works, in order to obtain more compact distaffs and a better penetration of the color. A ring connects the two central lamp shades, and by simply removing it with a gesture you can change the lamp shades (you can shorten it using only four lamp shades instead of six), also having fun trying out different combinations of color. The lamp shades are available in 13 interchangeable colors. It has two low-energy light bulbs, one at the base and one at the top, facing down. The silk cord that wraps around the lamp shade (recalling the wire around the distaff for dyeing) can be red or black. It can be easily disassembled and the lamp shades can be washed in the dishwasher. Choose now among the 13 available colors the color of each lamp shade, then you can always buy new or different ones from the future collections, to find a personalized combination. Retube can be minimalist with transparent lamp shade or it can turn into an explosion of color. With Retube you will always have a sustainable lighting, contemporary and personalized. Retube will add a touch of refined contemporary even in the most traditional homes. It's is locally made in Tuscany, Italy.
